Firebrand

An ancient dragon sleeps in its cave with his riches, expecting only to be awoken by thieves or would-be-heroes. What it doesn't expect is a child pleading for help. Join Lizzie and her new begrudging companion Uzziss the Dragon as they launch a campaign to save Lizzie's mother Rosalind from marrying the new King who kidnapped her. Can they save her in time before Rosalind has to say 'I do?' Or will this marriage see an end to Lizzie's family as well as Uz's life?

For my final Comic’s Creation class for my certification, we were to make an 8 page, ashcan style comic from start to finish - characters, thumbnails all the way to lettering and special effects all in Clip studio Paint. This is the brain child of that assignment and one that is very close to my heart. I didn’t expect to fall in love with Lizzie and Uz but they’ve grown on me like Lizzie grows on Uz. Enjoy their little adventure!
